More than just lessons, Cape Smokey Snow School offers a great day out on the slopes to learn and have fun! Snow School consists of four different categories which all include snowboarding and skiing.
Daily Lessons are Private/Semi Private and Group lessons that are booked one at a time, are based on availability and are for ages 5+. 
Camps which take place during holiday breaks when kids are off school, occur consecutive days in a row and you must sign up for the entire camp. Camps we are offering this year are: Christmas Break camp, Heritage Day long weekend camp, March Break camp, Easter long weekend camp. 
Programs are one lesson per week and take place over 6 weeks. Programs we offer are: Eaglets and Soaring Eagles and which are included with the purchase of a Child's Winter Season Pass. 
Schools and Group programs are offered specifically to Schools and other groups in the community. You must sign up in advance through our snow school director snowschool@capesmokeyholding.com

We are less than a 2-hour drive from Sydney and well worth the drive! Cape Smokey has three beginner trails from the summit and has made the progression for all levels at Cape Smokey some of the best in Nova Scotia. Our unique location, adjacent to Cape Breton Highlands National Park and Cape Smokey Provincial Park means we not only develop winter sports skills at Cape Smokey but also a sense of belonging and stewardship within our National and Provincial Parks.
